Commercial Property Solicitor

Bungay, Suffolk | Full Time | Salary from £45,000 depending on experience | Hybrid working options

Michelle Denny Recruitment is working with Sprake & Kingsley, a respected law firm in Bungay, to recruit an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or equivalent qualified legal professional.

This is an opportunity to take on interesting, varied commercial property work within a supportive team, with the scope to develop your own caseload and build lasting client relationships.

With roots in Bungay stretching back more than 200 years, Sprake & Kingsley combines strong local connections with a modern approach to legal services. The firm works with a diverse client base, including businesses, developers and agricultural clients, providing plenty of variety beyond routine property transactions.

What you'll be doing

You'll handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

• Commercial leases for offices, retail, industrial and agricultural premises

• Unregistered land and complex title matters

• Commercial property lending advice

• Residential and commercial development transactions

• Drafting transfers, charges, option agreements and overage deeds

• Liaising with clients, agents, surveyors and other professionals

There's also an opportunity to develop your knowledge of agricultural property work, with appropriate supervision, and to support colleagues on more complex matters.

What you'll bring

• We're looking for someone with at least two years' post-qualification experience, or equivalent relevant experience, in commercial property law.

• You'll be comfortable managing your own work, confident in your technical ability and able to build good relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are important, along with an interest in continuing to develop professionally.
