Master Production Scheduler (12 Month FTC) Location: Glenrothes or Livingstone Salary - up to 60k Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) - compressed working week, Fridays off Security Clearance: BPSS (must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship) The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Master Production Scheduler to join a leading Defence company on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our operations, where you’ll ensure production plans align with customer commitments, operational capacity, and business objectives. You’ll act as a key link between Production, Programmes, Engineering, and Supply Chain—driving performance, visibility, and on-time delivery across multiple programs. Key Responsibilities Create and manage Master Production Schedules across assigned programs Act as a key contact for Program teams to ensure on-time delivery Lead monthly schedule reviews and produce production dashboards Set and communicate weekly production targets Align schedules with customer orders, inventory, and capacity Support resource planning, forecasting, and “what-if” capacity modelling Requirements Proven experience in production scheduling or planning Strong understanding of operations, supply chain, and manufacturing SAP experience essential Analytical, organised, and solutions-focused Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
