About the role
Job Title: 2nd line support Analyst
Location: Wakefield
Work Model: Onsite
Shift: Rotational Shifts-2 weeks on days 8-4 to be inducted, site tours, access/hardware to be issued. Then be part of the shift rotation. The shifts will be (in order) PM shift (2pm - 10pm), Mid shift (10am - 6pm), Early shift (7am - 3pm). Shifts a for a week at a time.
Description:
As a Tech Ops Analyst II
- You will be responsible for the implementation and support of Supply Chain technology used throughout our Processing Center in UK.
- You will be working within the Global IT Function, within I&O Service Delivery tower.
- As this is a varied role, you will be providing onsite technical incident support for medium complexity technology, technology engineering, administration, and maintenance activities.
- You will partner with internal customers, Global IT teams and 3rd party vendors on basic to medium complexity technology support/solutions.
- You will participate in IT Supply Chain Agile project planning sessions and own project related activities within your area.
- You will facilitate and communicate IT initiatives to internal business customers and ensure IT service quality standards are met.
- Act as a point of escalation for business customers and be able to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
What you'll need
We seek creative, customer-focused individuals with technical expertise and a mindset for continuous improvement. We rethink how software and infrastructure are delivered at cloud scale, and work closely with other teams to improve key services.
A strong candidate would possess:
- Technical experience within a Supply Chain environment and have exposure to WMS systems, RF HHT's / mobile technology, printing, and barcode technology.
- Exposure in supporting the following technology:
- Desktop/thin client support
- Physical server support,
- Telephony
- Network technology
- Server room racking and data cabling standards
- Asset management,
- Diagnostics and trouble shooting.
- Experience of IT Service Operations (ITIL) including incident, problem and change management.
- Exposure to a fast paced operational / supply chain environment.
- Be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
