£26.00 per hour (Umbrella) | Mon–Fri, 9–5 | Putney & Roehampton IRH | Start ASAP

We’re looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join the Integrated Recovery Hub (IRH) team in Putney and Roehampton, part of South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to deliver high-quality, recovery-focused care within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.

About the Role

As a Band 6 CPN, you’ll be part of a dedicated mental health team delivering evidence-based, person-centred nursing care. You’ll promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing while supporting junior staff and fostering a culture of learning and clinical excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work autonomously while leading and supporting junior staff.
  • Deliver high-quality, safe nursing care in line with NMC standards.
  • Coordinate and evaluate care plans with patients, carers, and the MDT.
  • Administer and monitor medication and service user wellbeing.
  • Promote health, wellbeing, and recovery-focused activities.
  • Lead on risk assessments, documentation, and safeguarding processes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and partner organisations.
  • Support professional growth through supervision and education.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
  • Experience working in community or acute mental health settings.
  • Knowledge of recovery-focused care and clinical leadership.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise and support junior nursing staff.
