Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse - Ward Nurse

Vets for Pets Romford is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to oversee our inpatient ward. This full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm, offers a chance to lead a compassionate team while ensuring every patient receives exemplary care. In this position, you will manage the daily operations of the ward, conduct comprehensive clinical checks on patients, and develop tailored care plans. You will also maintain accurate clinical notes, facilitate effective handovers between day and night teams, and ensure the wellness of our patients is prioritized. Your leadership will extend to the induction and training of Veterinary Care Assistants, as well as the implementation of new protocols aimed at elevating our clinical standards.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified RVN with previous senior nursing experience and a strong background in inpatient and critical care. You should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, thrive in a busy environment, and demonstrate the ability to delegate effectively.
