Grayscale Medical is recruiting 2x Middle Grade Doctors (ST3+ equivalent) in Neurology for a locum assignment at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH) Neurology Department, part of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT). Offered at a £60–£70/hr assignment rate.

These are substantive middle grade positions required immediately through to August 2026, working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. Two positions are available concurrently. Candidates must have at least 6 months of Neurology experience to be considered at middle grade level.

Role details: RVH Neurology is a tertiary referral centre covering the full range of neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, MS, neuromuscular disease, and movement disorders. The middle grade locum will work within a structured team covering outpatient clinics, ward rounds, and acute neurology referrals. Doctors must have been qualified for at least 4 years post-graduation to meet the Trust’s middle grade threshold. Encompass training is mandatory for all BHSCT locum doctors.

Requirements: ST3+ or equivalent (minimum 4 years post-graduation), 6 months Neurology experience, valid GMC registration with licence to practise, right to work in the UK, Enhanced AccessNI clearance (DBS does not suffice for Northern Ireland), professional indemnity insurance, Encompass training. Minimum 2 Neurology-specific professional references required.
