Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist for a locum assignment covering a 16-bedded rehabilitation ward and community mental health recovery team within Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This position covers 5 Programmed Activities (PAs) on the rehabilitation ward and 5 PAs in community mental health recovery, offering a varied and rewarding caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The successful candidate will provide senior psychiatric oversight for patients on the rehabilitation pathway, managing complex cases requiring longer-term therapeutic intervention alongside community-based recovery work. Encompass training is listed as essential criteria for this role. The trust requires all files forwarded to be fully compliant with a completed LD1 form.

This is a £100/hr assignment rate position suitable for consultants with experience in adult mental health rehabilitation and recovery-focused practice. The role requires full GMC registration with a licence to practise, Section 12 approval (or willingness to obtain), and right to work in the UK. AccessNI clearance and professional indemnity insurance are required prior to placement.
