About This Role

We are looking for experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to support a happy, cheeky young man aged 20 with complex care needs.

He lives between his mum and dad’s homes in Orrell and Billinge, so you’ll need to be a driver and happy to travel between both locations. Support is provided on a 2:1 basis.

He has a fun-loving personality and is a very sociable young man who knows how to keep his care team on their toes! He loves getting out and about, enjoying sensory activities and spending time with others. He also attends college three days a week, which he absolutely loves, so there are plenty of opportunities to support him with the things that make him happy.

As his Healthcare Assistant, you’ll support him with his clinical needs, including PEG care, oral suction, oxygen, nebulisers, oxygen ventilation and medication administration. You’ll also play an important role in supporting his social activities, encouraging his independence and making sure he can enjoy his favourite experiences.

If you’re a confident, caring Healthcare Assistant who enjoys building meaningful relationships and bringing fun and positivity to your work, this could be the perfect role for you!

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

Our clients family has requested female staff to join their team.

“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK*
  • Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
  • Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
  • Full UK driving licence

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
