About the role

The position of Head Chef is available at a popular town centre pub/restaurant which has a great reputation for offering its guests good quality dining. The pub restaurant serves seasonal dishes, using fresh ingredients  served in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.  This is a friendly local pub with an ambitious Owner who is very supportive of the kitchen team. In this role of Head Chef you will be responsible for supporting the Owners in all aspects of the kitchen and managing a brigade of 3 chefs. This is a great opportunity for a chef looking to put their stamp on a traditional pub.

You will be working 45 – 48 hours over 5 days a week.

Requirements:

An ambitious, enthusiastic, experienced, “foodie” Head Chef with a proven track record working in fresh food kitchens. Must have a good understanding of food safety, food costing and menu planning.
