PRIMARY TEACHER

Spencer Clarke Group is currently recruiting Primary Teachers for a range of schools across Preston and the surrounding areas.
We have opportunities available for day-to-day supply, short-term and longer-term assignments, as well as temp-to-perm opportunities for teachers looking for a potential permanent position.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Support pupils across a range of abilities and learning needs
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual pupil needs
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• Commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
