Complex Needs Outreach Worker

Are you a compassionate person with experience supporting people with complex needs?

This is a great opportunity to join our Street Population Team at Islington Council. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual with a passion for transforming the lives of vulnerable members of the community.

Key Duties: 

• Outreach in the community engaging with rough sleepers living on the street. 
• Manage a caseload of clients both on the street and in accommodation. 
• Work within a multi agency team to support people away from the street.

Skills and Experience

• Flexible - ability to adapt to changing circumstances and demands
• Responsive - ability to priorities emergency cases and complex cases
• Organised - ability to manage your own diary, accurate recording and support planning 
• Team player- Joint working with internal and external partners 
• Experience of support planning and managing risk.
