Home Finding Officer

Rate of Pay: £15.31 per hour PAYE/ £20.86 per hour UMB

Working Hours: 37 hours, 8:30am-5pm Monday - Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm Friday, 1-hour unpaid break each day. Shared late shift rota (8pm latest), 1 day per week.

Location: Hybrid - up to 2 days onsite per week. Coventry based office.

Duration: 6-Month temporary basis with potential to extend.

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Coventry City Council, for a Home Finding Officer on a temporary basis to join the busy Children's Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop a career within safeguarding and children's services.

Key Duties:

• Managing shared inboxes and referrals
• Liaising with Social Workers, Providers and Commissioning Teams
• Reviewing and progressing referrals
• Updating systems and maintaining accurate records
• Attending team meetings and supervision sessions
• Supporting the team duty function to manage and prioritise incoming referrals

Requirements:

• Previous administration experience
• Strong IT skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a process-driven environment
• Awareness of safeguarding and handling sensitive information
• Children's Services experience desirable.
