Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse and distribution operation on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for long-term employment with a well-established business.
Salary & Benefits
£28,155.60 per annum when perm
Temp to Permanent contract
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday working pattern
Stable, long-term employment
Friendly and supportive team environment
Working Hours
Midnight to 9:00 AM Monday to Friday
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently. Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, your duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading freight vehicles
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence/certification
- Previous warehouse and FLT experience
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
