Job Description:
A leading specialist provider is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to support classroom activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. The Primary School Teaching Assistant will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure the best possible educational experience for pupils in the foundation phase.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teaching Assistant based in Pontypridd, your daily duties will include:

Providing general classroom support to teachers and pupils in the foundation phase
Assisting with planning and delivering engaging learning activities
Supporting pupils with their individual learning needs and behavioural requirements
Helping create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
Supervising pupils during breaks and other non-teaching times
Contributing to the overall organisation and smooth running of the classroom

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will need:

Previous experience working with children in a school setting (desirable)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Enthusiasm for supporting young learners and fostering a positive learning environment
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of pupils and staff
