Pay: £110 – £125 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm

About the Role
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming nursery setting in Walthamstow to recruit an experienced Early Years Practitioner for an immediate start.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting children’s early development, creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn through play and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.
This position requires previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting, alongside a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting children with their learning and development through play-based activities
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
• Supporting children’s communication, language and social development
• Following the EYFS framework and supporting children’s individual learning goals
• Observing and recording children’s progress and development
• Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and transitions
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive nursery environment

The Ideal Candidate
The nursery is looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, desirable
• Is warm, enthusiastic and confident working with young children
• Can confidently support children’s learning through structured and child-led play
• Is proactive, reliable and works well as part of a team
• Has strong communication and organisational skills

Previous nursery or Early Years experience is essential for this position.
