Early Years Practitioner Opportunity – Hertford – January 2027
A historic and well-resourced school in Hertford has partnered with County Teachers to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to join their team from January 2027 for a one-term contract.
Due to potential staffing changes within the Early Years Unit, the school is currently unable to confirm whether the successful candidate will be based in Nursery or Reception. Therefore, while not essential, experience across both age groups would be highly desirable.
The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers, provided candidates can demonstrate the ability to deliver an outstanding standard of teaching and contribute positively to the learning and development of young children. This opportunity has become available following a member of the team sharing the wonderful news of her pregnancy.
Although this role is initially expected to be temporary, there may be the possibility of an extension or permanent position for the right candidate. The school is keen to retain an exceptional practitioner who can make a real impact, support the team, and help raise standards within the classroom.
