Supply Teacher

Flourish Education are currently looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a variety of primary schools in Tipton and the surrounding areas. We have day-to-day supply opportunities available, offering flexible working arrangements that allow you to choose the days you work to fit around your lifestyle.

As a Supply Teacher, you will be supporting schools with short-term cover across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils continue to make progress in a positive learning environment.

We work closely with a range of friendly and welcoming primary schools in the Tipton area, providing opportunities for teachers to gain valuable experience across different year groups and school settings.

Required Responsibilities as a Supply Teacher:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities across different primary year groups.
• Maintaining effective classroom management and encouraging positive pupil behaviour.
• Ensuring children remain engaged in their learning and supporting pupils with varying abilities.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and providing feedback to school staff following lessons.

Working as a Supply Teacher, you will have the following skills:

• Previous teaching experience within a UK primary school, ideally across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Ability to confidently manage a classroom and adapt quickly to new school environments.
• Strong communication, organisational and behaviour management skills.

Working as a Supply Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

• £130 - £160 per day; this equates to £25,350 - £31,200 per annum, based on working 5 days a week for a full school year (195 days). Dependent on experience and days worked.
