About the role
Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust is pleased to invite applications for the post of SEND Teaching Assistant. The successful candidates will join our team of SEND teaching assistants. You may also be required to support in our SEND Hub .
Fixed Term (to 31/08/2027 in the first instance)
30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day)
St Mary’s Bluecoat CE Primary School is a thriving community school, based in our purpose-built site on The Grove which opened in 1963. We take our name from the majestic St Mary Magdalene church, built by Thomas Telford, which stands proudly overlooking the beautiful riverside town of Bridgnorth. Our school has a warm, vibrant atmosphere where purposeful learning takes place. The teaching and support staff are skilled, enthusiastic, hard-working and caring.
The ideal candidates needs to be patient, with a warm and friendly attitude and have the passion and determination to succeed through challenging situations on a daily basis.
To be considered for this SEND Teaching Assistant position you will need to have experience of working with children with SEND in either a primary school setting or in a specialist provision. You should also have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent qualification.
