Intermediate Civil Engineer - Nuclear

Rate: $70–$80/hour, based on experience

We are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to support OPG projects in Pickering. This role involves civil engineering design, technical assessments and field support within a nuclear environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil engineering calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct site walkdowns and assess existing conditions to support project planning and design.
• Support civil infrastructure modifications, upgrades and construction activities.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines, project teams and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure work meets applicable codes, standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence in Ontario required.
• Relevant civil engineering experience at an intermediate level.
• Active OPG / Bruce Power clearance
• 3 - 7 years nuclear industry experience is required.
• Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to work on-site in Pickering five days per week and start as soon as possible.
