Classroom Support Assistant

A Warwick primary school is seeking a part‑time Classroom Support Assistant to join their friendly team. The role suits a qualified TA or ECT who can provide confident classroom support while also delivering PPA cover when required. Because the school values consistency and calm communication, you’ll play an important part in maintaining smooth routines throughout the day.

The position involves supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1, although you may occasionally assist in KS2. Additionally, you’ll help deliver planned lessons during PPA time, ensuring learning continues effectively and pupils remain engaged. As a result, strong organisation, clear communication and a proactive approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across core subjects and daily routines
• Deliver PPA cover using pre‑prepared lesson plans
• Support small‑group and 1:1 learning to reinforce key skills
• Maintain a calm, structured learning environment
• Prepare resources, tidy learning spaces and assist with general classroom organisation
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

• Qualified TA or ECT (essential)
