Primary Teacher

Provide Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support a range of welcoming primary schools across Halifax and the surrounding areas on an ad hoc supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking for flexible work that fits around their availability, whether you are looking for occasional days, regular supply work, or the opportunity to experience different school environments.
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their best.
We work with a variety of primary schools across Halifax, from smaller community schools to larger, well-established settings, giving you the flexibility to choose assignments that suit your experience and preferences.

 Primary Teacher role requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1 or KS2) 
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons 
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills 
  • A proactive and reflective approach to teaching 
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing 
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply 

 
The successful  Primary Teacher will: 

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Monitor, assess and track pupil progress 
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies 
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment 
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and leadership
