Conveyancing Assistant

Conveyancing Assistant – Wirral – up to £25479 – Full Time – Permanent – Hybrid Working

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected legal firm for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their Transactional Conveyancing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience or a good working knowledge of residential conveyancing processes.

The Role

Working alongside Fee Earners and Paralegals, you will provide administrative and transactional support across a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Re-mortgages, transfers of equity and equity release.
• Preparing reports, completion statements and documentation.
• Responding to client and third-party enquiries.
• Processing client ID checks, searches and mortgage funds.
• Assisting with completion and post-completion matters, including SDLT and HMLR requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and closing files on the case management system.
• Providing general administrative support to the Conveyancing team.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience within a conveyancing environment.
• Good knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, reliable and client-focused approach.

Experience with Proclaim or a similar case management system would be advantageous.
