Exam Invigilator

The Exam Invigilator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and secure delivery of both internal and external examinations in accordance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations. Working under the direction of the Exams and Data Team Leader, the post holder is responsible for preparing examination rooms, admitting and supervising candidates, distributing examination materials, and maintaining the security and integrity of the examination process at all times. The role requires vigilance, professionalism and attention to detail to ensure candidates comply with examination regulations, while effectively managing any queries, disruptions or emergencies that may arise. Following examinations, the invigilator is responsible for collecting and securely returning examination materials, completing required documentation, and supporting additional examination activities as required. A strong commitment to safeguarding, reliability, confidentiality, teamwork and ongoing professional development is essential to the role.
