With effect from October 2026, we are seeking to appoint a part-time Food Technician, working one day per week (Monday) to support the teaching of Food Technology enabling the smooth running of practical classes and maintaining a safe working environment. 

Working under the day-to-day supervision of our Food Technology teacher and the Head of Technologies Faculty, you will be required to assist and support the department which will include maintaining equipment and preparing resources for lessons. 

The appointed candidate must have positive approaches to and enjoy working with young people. In turn, you will have a fulfilling opportunity to work with staff and students supporting a popular subject within our Academy community. 

Attleborough Academy is a popular, 11 to 18 Academy which is continually developing to meet the demands of providing the highest quality education for all students. The Academy joined the Sapientia Education Trust (SET) in June 2020 which was an exciting and important development for the school. Working hours for this post will be 08:15 to 16:15 on a Monday
