Client Details Our client is in the Insurance sector and is looking to grow their team with a Java Solution Architect. This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in London. Description Design and develop scalable and efficient Java-based solutions to address complex business challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions. Provide architectural guidance and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and mentor team members to promote professional growth. Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance project outcomes. Ensure solutions are aligned with organisational goals and technical strategies. Develop and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance. Profile Must haves: Java, J2EE Spring / Spring Boot Microservices Camunda or similar BPM tools Agentic development experience Hands on Solution Architect experience Hands on coding still up to date - able to do POC, help the development team when needed Database experience Nice to haves: Claude n8n AWS Kubernetes / Docker Job Offer 25 days + BHS Private medical Bonus of 5-10% Pension 5% Life insurance
