Are you a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, influencing decisions, and helping clients find the right solution? Do you have an interest in the environment and want to develop your career within a growing specialist consultancy? We’re seeking an Environmental Consultant to join a well-established business operating across the South East. This is a predominantly home-based role, combining client consultation, site visits, report writing, and business development.

The Role

Working with residential clients and professional partners, you’ll provide expert advice following site assessments, helping clients understand environmental issues and the most appropriate management solutions.

Covering London, the Home Counties, and the South East, you’ll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for building relationships, conducting inspections, producing detailed reports, and converting enquiries into instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle new client enquiries and provide professional advice, converting opportunities into booked surveys and projects.

• Conduct site visits and environmental assessments.

• Produce detailed reports, management plans, recommendations, and costings.

• Support clients throughout the decision-making process.

• Follow up proposals and quotations to secure new business.

• Work towards achievable sales and conversion targets.

• Support marketing activities including events, webinars, and content creation.

• Develop relationships with solicitors, surveyors, estate agents, and other professional contacts to generate referrals and repeat business.

Skills & Experience

• Passion for the environment and sustainability.

• Environmental Degree preferred

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Commercially minded with a consultative sales approach.

• Based in North London (Essential)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.

• Experience within environmental services, landscaping, construction, property, consultancy, or a related sector would be advantageous.
