Class Teacher - Year 5

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential

We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring and committed Year 5 Class Teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning and who wants to help us continue to achieve excellent learning outcomes for our pupils.

You will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

• The ability to provide high-quality teaching, pedagogy and practice to secure consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning.

• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

• The ability to contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

• The ability to create and maintain a dynamic, engaging and inspiring learning environment.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• The ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

• High expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and progress.

• A genuine passion for teaching and helping children to succeed.

Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse fluently in spoken English and provide effective help, advice and support to pupils, parents, colleagues and other members of the school community.
