We’re looking for an experienced CCTV Systems Designer to join our client’s team in Derby, supporting projects from initial design through to successful delivery. Ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of CCTV and security systems, this role offers the opportunity to work with leading technology and make an impact. ResponsibilitiesConduct site surveys to assess CCTV and security requirementsDevelop CCTV layouts and complete design packsSpecify cameras, recording systems, and network infrastructureProduce practical, compliant designs based on customer requirementsSupport technical queries and provide guidance during installation and commissioningContribute to design reviews and ensure quality standards throughout project deliveryMaintain accurate project documentation and design recordsMust-have RequirementsProven experience in CCTV system designCompetent user of AutoCAD or similar design softwareStrong understanding of camera selection, coverage calculations, recording systems, and network integrationAbility to interpret client requirements into compliant, practical solutionsExperience supporting installation teams and commissioningNice-to-have SkillsKnowledge of CCTV standards (including BS EN 62676), data protection requirements, and security best practicesRelevant qualifications in CCTV, security systems, or electrical/design disciplinesFamiliarity with electronic security and integration projectsApply Now If this sounds like the right role for you, we’d love to hear from you.
