Are you a Milestone CCTV Commissioning Engineer based in Birmingham looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Milestone CCTV Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, configuration, testing and handover of Milestone CCTV systems on site, supporting project closeout activities across commercial and industrial environments. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Commission, configure and test Milestone XProtect CCTV systems in line with project specifications and client requirements.
* Configure and verify IP cameras, recording servers and associated CCTV equipment.
* Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve system and configuration issues.
* Interpret technical drawings, specifications and commissioning documentation to support delivery.
* Record and document commissioning results, test outcomes and any outstanding issues.
* Liaise with project teams and subcontractors to ensure commissioning activities are closed out safely and on programme.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven hands-on experience commissioning Milestone XProtect CCTV systems.
* Strong knowledge of IP CCTV systems including cameras, recording servers and network infrastructure.
* Demonstrated fault-finding and troubleshooting ability on live CCTV installations.
* Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications and commissioning documentation.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
