We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client based in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business offering a stable Monday to Friday working pattern and a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work methodically with excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Booking deliveries into stock and carrying out goods-in checks.
• Ensuring delivery paperwork matches received shipments.
• Allocating stock and storing products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Carrying out inventory and stock control checks.
• Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are packaged securely.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required.

About You

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Comfortable with manual handling duties.
