Parcel Sorter – Newbridge

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Parcel Sorters to join our well-established client based in Newbridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy parcel distribution operation, sorting parcels by postcode and ensuring they are correctly organised and prepared for onward delivery.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Warehouse Operative, Mail Sorter or  Logistics Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• 00:00 – 08:30

Candidates must be able to reliably travel to EH28 8PW for the required start time.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Parcel Sorter are:

• Sorting parcels accurately by postcode
• Moving parcels to the correct areas for onward delivery
• Loading and unloading parcels where required
• Scanning parcels using handheld equipment
• Checking labels and ensuring parcels are correctly sorted
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
