Commissioning Lead - Adults

Your primary focus will be to develop solutions to help adults with care and support needs live the lives they choose. You will be at the heart of shaping services for adults and unpaid carers, and work collaboratively with the market and wider directorate to achieve these priorities. You will be instrumental in ensuring support services maximise opportunities for independence and prevention and take account of the strengths and assets of adults and their carers.

The ability to effectively influence and create positive change will be essential to deliver flexible responses to meet changing need within the borough. You will have an excellent understanding of dealing with and analysing information whilst under pressure and effectively communicating this information to others. It is key that you have experience of writing and presenting reports to inform others about relevant issues and recommendations about appropriate future action.

This busy and rewarding role will take advantage of the right candidate’s ability to build long-lasting internal and external stakeholder relationships. This will ensure effective leadership; motivating and developing staff within the team to achieve organisational objectives and deliver commissioning priorities effectively.
