Senior Finance Manager

Castle Donington, Derby DE74, UK Talk Staff Group Limited We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join a successful and growing business in the East Midlands on an initial six-month interim basis. This is a broad, hands-on finance role for an experienced finance professional who can quickly get up to speed, take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and provide reliable financial information and support to senior management. This would suit a Senior Finance Manager, Finance Manager, Financial Controller or experienced Management Accountant looking for an interesting interim assignment where they can make a genuine contribution. To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials: Qualified or qualified by experience Strong technically with excellent management accounting skills Commercially minded and confident working with senior stakeholders Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment Able to work independently and quickly understand a new business Experienced in improving processes and financial controls Confident analysing financial information and explaining it clearly A strong communicator who can build relationships across the business Within this position, you’ll also be: Managing monthly management accounts & financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting & cashflow Carrying out financial analysis & variance reporting Balance sheet reconciliations and financial control Improving finance processes and procedures Supporting month-end and year-end activities Providing financial insight to senior management Reviewing and improving reporting information Supporting the wider finance team and developing processes Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and controls Salary & Working Hours Salary is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependant on experience 6 month interim contract Talk Staff Recruitment is an established division of Talk Staff Group and works with companies throughout the East Midlands and UK with roles including many areas such as: Accountancy & Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Contact Centre and Office Support.  Talk Staff Recruitment act as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.  See our website for more details and jobs available - (phone number removed)
