Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Rate: £220 per day

Are you a Security Service Engineer based in Cardiff looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and public sector sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Service and maintain a range of electronic security systems including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and remedial repairs to ensure systems are fully operational.
* Complete site surveys and risk assessments prior to works being undertaken.
* Liaise with clients on-site to ensure minimal disruption and a high standard of customer service.
* Maintain accurate service records and job reports in line with company procedures.
* Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant industry standards and health and safety requirements.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 15 years of experience working as a Security Service Engineer in a field-based role.
* Proven experience servicing and maintaining intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a variety of security platforms.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* ECS Card and IPAF certification required.
* Asbestos Awareness certification required; FIA or NSI/SSAIB registration (desirable).
