People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Valeter to join our well-established client based in Hallen, BS10. This is a fantastic opportunity offering genuine long-term work and career progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Domestic Cleaner, Commercial Cleaner or Housekeeping Assistant.

Shifts: Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 16:00 

Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Valeter, you will work:

• Wash vehicle exteriors and thoroughly valet the interiors of welfare units and vans
• Safely empty and clean waste tanks, ensuring all units are hygienic and ready for use
• Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections using a digital tablet to log and report defects or part shortages
• Double-check that all ancillary products, required safety certificates and marketing materials are present and up to date
• Ensure welfare units are presented to the highest possible standard before delivery to customers

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Valeter, you will need:

  •  Basic spoken and written English
  •  Excellent reliability and punctuality
  •  Good communication skills
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  •  Positive and proactive attitude
  •  Strong attention to detail

Desirable Experience

  •  Previous industrial cleaning experience
  •  Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment
  •  Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH

Training Provided

  •  Full training provided
  •  Ongoing support throughout your assignment
