Fabrication Operator

£28,503.89 + 10% Shift Allowance + Bonus
Double Days | 37.5 Hours Per Week

Join a leading manufacturing business as a Fabrication Operator, working with Power Press, Saw and Boschert machinery in a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to secure a stable role offering competitive pay, shift allowance and bonus potential.

The Role:

• Set up and operate Power Press machinery safely and efficiently.
• Operate Saw and Boschert equipment to meet production requirements.
• Manufacture components from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings using Windchill.
• Carry out quality inspections and basic machine maintenance.
• Maintain excellent standards of health & safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the fabrication department.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience operating Power Press machinery.
• Strong fabrication or manufacturing background.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience carrying out dimensional and visual inspections.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills:

• Power Press certification or relevant machine operating qualifications.
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Forklift licence.
• Current or recent experience as sheet metal worker, press setter, power press setter, fabricator, steel fabricator, fabrication engineer
