Programme Manager - PubSec - Outside IR35 - Mostly Remote/Glasgow
Contract Length - 12 Months
Day Rate - up to £520 per day

A large public sector healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to support the delivery of a major digital transformation programme. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the implementation of digital strategies, transformation initiatives, and associated organisational change activities.

The role requires a highly experienced programme professional with a strong understanding of digital healthcare environments, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in the delivery of a large-scale transformation programme.
• Drive implementation of digital strategies and associated workstreams.
• Develop programme documentation, reporting, and governance artefacts.
• Communicate programme progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
• Produce high-quality visual materials, including presentations, graphical representations of information, and infographics.
• Collaborate with business and digital teams to ensure successful programme outcomes.
• Provide proactive updates and work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years' experience operating in senior Programme Management roles.
• Significant experience and understanding of healthcare sector systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of the strategic digital landscape within the UK and internationally.
• Experience creating professional visualisations, infographics, and executive-level communications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities independently while providing regular progress updates.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working within public sector healthcare organisations or healthcare boards.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation and strategic change programmes.
