Product Owner

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Product Owner, this would be based in Glasgow (Hybrid working pattern of 2 days per week on-site).

• £420 p/d Inside IR35
• 6 months with potential extension
• We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a large-scale transformation programme.

You will lead pre-discovery activities across multiple workstreams, working closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and Product Owners to shape product direction and ensure solutions are aligned to user needs and organisational priorities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Owner with strong stakeholder engagement, user-centred design experience, and a proven track record of shaping products and services within complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-discovery activities across multiple workstreams.
• Engage stakeholders to identify and validate user needs.
• Define and prioritise problems, opportunities, and outcomes.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
• Support the development of a three-year delivery roadmap.
• Ensure alignment between business priorities and delivery feasibility.

Essential Experience

• Experience integrating products with other services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
• Ability to articulate clear problem statements and support others in doing so.
• Proven experience applying User-Centred Design principles across multiple channels.
• Ability to adapt approaches based on business, technical, or delivery constraints.
• Experience working in Agile product environments.
