Key responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged in learning activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a constructive learning environment in line with academy policies.
- Support students' learning, encouraging participation, independence, and inclusion for all learners.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff on achievement, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.
- Build positive relationships with students, setting high expectations and fostering a culture of success.
Pay range: SCP 12-17 - £25,982.89 - £28,185.21 - FTE: £29,542.00 - £32,046.00 - 37 Hours a Week, 39 Weeks per year
Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children or young people in a school environment.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain positive behaviour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, engage, and support students to achieve their best
