Job Details

Salary: NJC Grade 4 Points 5-6 (£25,583 - £25,989 p.a. pro rata - pay award pending)

Contract Type: Permanent, Term time only plus Inset Days

Working Pattern: Full time, 8.30am - 3.00pm to include lunch duties

Location: Southbourne, Emsworth

Closing date: Tuesday 29 September 2026 9.00am.

Interviews: w/c 5 October 2026.

Job Overview Cover Supervisor

Bourne Community College are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Cover Supervisor who has a real passion for working with young people.

Join the College to support its smooth running by keeping lessons running and supporting learning in this key role covering lessons for absent colleagues.

About You

Are you someone who can walk into a classroom and instantly connect with young people? Can you see yourself helping students continue to learn and focus on the tasks set by their teacher in their absence? Do you want to make a difference to young people's lives? Do you think you have the drive, patience, a sense of humour and are you committed to lifelong learning?
