OR114882 – Maintenance Officer – Trades & Operatives

Work Pattern: 37 hours per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £124.50 per day

Main Purpose of the Role

To carry out high-quality first and second fix carpentry work, working safely, efficiently and to a high standard while supporting the wider team.

Typical Day

• Complete first and second fix carpentry work.

• Read and work from drawings and specifications.

• Measure, cut and install materials accurately.

• Work independently and alongside other trades.

• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

• Good knowledge of first and second fix carpentry.

• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

• Ability to read drawings and specifications.

• Confident using hand and power tools.

• Reliable, hardworking and professional.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified and experienced carpenter.

• Relevant carpentry qualification or apprenticeship.

• Proven first and second fix experience.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Good understanding of health and safety.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
