Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 2:30pm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join a leading bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bench Hand Joiner looking for a long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Duties of the Bench Hand Joiner:

• Manufacturing bespoke joinery products from technical drawings

• Building and assembling doors, frames, windows, wall panels and other timber structures

• Working with MDF, hardwoods, laminates, veneered boards and sheet materials

• Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively

• Measuring, cutting, fitting and finishing components to a high standard

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

• Working as part of a skilled joinery team to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, Joiner, Cabinet Maker or Woodworker

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Experience producing bespoke joinery, shop fitting, windows, doors or timber structures

• Confident using hand tools and power tools

• Excellent attention to detail and workmanship

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
