About the role
This warm and supportive primary setting in Hillfields, Coventry, now seeks a Level 3‑qualified EYFS Assistant for a part‑time role. To begin with, you bring strong early years experience and create calm, structured routines that help children feel settled and ready to explore. As the day progresses, you guide small groups, reinforce early development and maintain clear expectations that support confidence and independence. Additionally, you work closely with staff to deliver high‑quality EYFS provision across the setting. Ideally, you drive and can travel easily to Hillfields, ensuring smooth access to the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Early years supervision that keeps routines calm, safe and structured
- Play‑based learning to build communication, confidence and early development
- Behaviour guidance using warm, consistent communication
- EYFS routines including setup, transitions and wellbeing checks
- Close teamwork with teachers and support staff
- Support for early literacy, numeracy and communication skills
