Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)

As an apprentice, you will be involved in helping to establish this exciting new provision from the beginning, contributing to high-quality early years experiences for children and families within our school community.

Working alongside qualified practitioners and the EYFS Lead, you will:

• Support the learning and development of children aged 3-4 years.

• Help plan and deliver engaging play-based activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Promote children's wellbeing, independence and confidence.

• Observe, assess and record children's learning and development.

• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

• Support the creation of a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

• Develop your knowledge, skills and professional practice through training and workplace experience.

• Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure high-quality care and education for all children.

• Has a genuine passion for working with young children.

• Is caring, patient, enthusiastic and eager to learn.

• Has good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Can work effectively as part of a team.

• Is organised, reliable and committed to professional development.

• Shares our commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations for all children.

• Meets the eligibility requirements for a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard, receiving dedicated training and support throughout their programme. Time will be allocated for off-the-job training in line with apprenticeship requirements.
