SEND Teaching Assistant

Provide Education is seeking a proactive and supportive SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Halifax, supporting pupils to engage with learning and reach their full potential. 
This is a full-time position, working closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support across a range of abilities and needs. 
The school has a strong focus on inclusion and pupil development, with a collaborative staff team and a supportive learning environment, making it an excellent opportunity for a SEND Teachinng Assistant looking to build experience in a school setting. 
 
SEND Teaching Assistant benefits

Learning Support Assistant role requirements 

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based desirable)
  • Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A patient, proactive and supportive approach 
  • Ability to work as part of a team 
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing 
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
