Design Technology Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Technology Technician to join our Design & Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent practical and organisational skills to play a key role in supporting both staff and students across a busy and creative curriculum area. The role is designed to provide efficient and effective technician support within the Technology Department, ensuring lessons and practical activities are delivered safely and successfully.

As a Technology Technician, you will contribute directly to students' learning experiences by preparing resources, maintaining equipment and providing practical support within lessons.

This position is contracted on a 35 hours per week Term Time Only basis. We do also welcome applications for part time working, please express within your application. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

Job Purpose 

• To be based in the Design & Technology department providing an efficient and effective technician support service to the school Technology Department.

Key Skills and Experience

• Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent. 
• Prior experience in a similar role
