General Cover Teacher (QTS) - Bristol - Flexible Secondary Teaching Roles

We are seeking an adaptable General Cover Teacher to support vibrant secondary schools throughout the Bristol area. Whether you are looking for full-time cover or just a few days a week, this position allows you to teach across a variety of subjects and year groups without the administrative burden. Step into the classroom, inspire students, and leave at the end of the day with no work to take home.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in Secondary Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Follow school policies and robust safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Leave detailed handovers and notes for returning subject teachers to ensure continuity.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Strong classroom management skills with an adaptable, positive, and professional approach.
  • High reliability and punctual attendance for an 8:30 AM start.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • Documented right to work in the UK.
