About the Role
As a Design Technology Teacher in Reigate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience and specialism.

You will play a key role in helping students develop practical skills, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities while fostering a passion for Design Technology.

Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assess, monitor and support student progress
Develop creative and practical projects
Contribute to curriculum development
Support extracurricular Technology and STEM activities
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and wider school staff

Requirements
To be considered for this DT Teacher role in Reigate, you will ideally have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and passion for DT
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and student progress
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
