About the role
Salary: £92.56 - £95.00 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term time only)
Location: Bodmin and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time, Term-time

We are seeking enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support local primary schools across Bodmin and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education while working structured, school-friendly hours close to home.
Your Role
As a Primary TA, you will work closely with class teachers to create a supportive, engaging learning environment. Your day-to-day will include:
Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom, either 1:1 or in small groups.
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and keeping students focused on their tasks.
Assisting the teacher with setting up learning resources and activities.
Encouraging children's social and emotional development, boosting their confidence.

A warm, approachable, and resilient personality.
Strong communication skills and a good level of literacy and numeracy.
Previous experience working with children (e.g., in a school, nursery, youth club, or coaching setting) is highly desirable.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
