Senior Childcare Solicitor

TSR Legal are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to strengthen its specialist Family team with the appointment of a Senior Childcare Solicitor.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice and achieving positive outcomes for clients. The firm has a firm commitment to client care and professional development, whilst providing its lawyers with the opportunity to take ownership of their work and build on their existing expertise.

The successful solicitor will handle a varied caseload covering public children law and adoption matters, acting for both legally aided and privately funded clients. There will also be the opportunity to undertake advocacy and play an active role in developing client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years’ PQE with strong experience in Children Law
• Experience handling public law children matters and/or adoption
• Confident advocacy skills and a good understanding of family court procedures
• Strong client care and communication skills
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently and work effectively to deadlines
• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team
• Children Law Accreditation would be advantageous
